Hot in here - Nelly
If you have been watching England's game yesterday, u would have been informed that it was 30 degrees in Frankfurt. It wasn't that much cooler here. It's around 28 degrees now.
It's really getting hot. Yesterday, i broke out into a sweat while having a pretty enthusiatic solo jam session in me room (both left right neighbours not around so can raise the volumme a bit!).
Me both windows are opened as wide as possible 24/7 - altho, it can't really open that wide due to being on the 11th floor. Being on the 11th floor does mean i get some pretty nice breezes in me room which really helps in the heat.
having the windows opened meant that i'm getting quite a lot of bugs in me room - mozzies (but not like the ones in M'sia), flies, a spider on me table. No roaches, tho! :-)
While i'm all for the cold moody autumn, i must admit that summer can be really nice. For one, everyone's in a good mood. Chiaki is always humming some tune, Ghisseh goes around wif a wide smile all the time, everyone is chatty and relaxed.
And come evening, we get a wonderful blue evening sky - see the pic on right. We dun get such blue skies back home in M'sia, do we? (see the little crescent moon in the blue sky?)
The sun sets close to 10 pm now and it rises at slightly pass 4 am. I know cuz every morn, just before i go to bed, i'd sit in the kitchen and enjoy the glorious sunrise (see pic on left for example), have a chat wif Jesus, before going in to sleep.
Still, i'll prolly buy a fan for me room - unless the breeze continues all the time!
