The Actor - Michael Learns To Rock

"I'm in a hurry and I must go to the hospital to see how Robben is, he could be in hospital for a week," commented Benitez.

I like that guy! :-)

Rafa, I mean!!!!!

OK - let me say at the outset that looking at the match, Chelsea IMHO deserved to win. Yeah, this was my first EPL game which I watched live since being in the UK. Let me say oso that Crespo's 2nd disallowed goal looked legit (not his first disallowed goal, tho. That was a brilliant call by the young Doogie-Howser-looking referee's assistant). Liverpool did not play badly but they did not take their chances. I've been a long time supporter of Crouch but he was really wasteful today.

Having said that, I just can't stand the behaviour of players who call themselves "professionals"!!!!!

The first incident was when Alonso and Terry challenged for the ball and Terry fell down and stayed on the ground, holding his face. The ref blew for a foul against Liverpool. However, the replay on the big screen at the bar showed no contact watsoever made on Terry's face. Even Sachin, an Arsenal fan, turned to me and said "There was nothing at all!!!!"

Then came the favourites for best actor award, Robben (He must have received lessons from is team captain).

Again, Reina's action in retaliation is not condoned by Rafa, neither is it condoned by yours truly. But to collapse in a heap when his face was touched????? Shameful!

The nominees for the best actor award... (and oso, for the "biggest mouth" award too!!!) Posted by Picasa

Oh, besides the best actor category, he shud be oso in the running for the best spoilt-brat-reaction award when he was adjudged (correctly, according to the replays) to have shoved Cisse. Did you see that? He was like jumping around and swinging his arms wif the biggest sulk on his face!

Grow up, boy. Grow up!

Comments:
yeah, it was warnock who played crespo on. :-( and remember how he lost possession to cole? nasib baik cole decided to go for it on his own and shot wide.

but its either him or traore!!!!!!

oh, did you see fowler's overhead kick on wednesday? :-)

btw, was it just me (it was pretty packed in the bar) but did not reina's tackle look legit? sure it was from the back but he got the ball, din he? oh well... it was nice to see dudek back for sentimental reasons!!!!

i dun think the tackle was ruled legit. the ref called reina over. it was as he walked over that robben incited him.

but the red card was definately for "knocking out" robben.

beckham? the one-trick horse???? hhmm... liverpool needs a right winger! lol!

nice to be able 2 talk footie wif u. i went wif 2 flatmates but both are not hard core EPL fans. one actually went back during half time cuz it was too boring for him!!!!

i am a girl thus my comments are not valid.
All emotions and no substance.

Oh, have concluded Topher is the one jinxing Livpool's matches...next match he's forbidden to go down to Khaleel

it's funny how we footie fans think so alike.

i stopped watching liverpool matches too when i was certain that i was jinxing them. and they stopped losing!!!!! took a long while b4 reality sink in and i realise that i dun possess that kind of power...

anyways, they lost again last nite - and this time i wasnt watching so i'm not the jinx!

they do not have really good distributors lah. they need someone in the mould of jari litmanen - remember him? and someone wif the experience of gary mcallister. o well...
