Waiting for that day - George Michael

I'm pretty excited over it - which may not be a good thing...

I was making plans to go to Leicester Square on Thursday with the hope of catching a glimpse of one of the following stars:-

Pics obtained from about.com

I remembered when i was in Chinatown at the same time when the premier for King Kong was taking place just around the corner!!!! Peter Jackson and Naomi Watts were there! But i din know and i was happily eating me duck rice - and later, when i walked out, i was wondering wat happenned there!!!!!!!

Yeah, i'm feeling a little juvenile! But i really enjoyed the sequel to X-Men. It was one of the best comic book movie - although i still think that Storm and Cyclops were pretty pedestrain (and pathetic at times) in the movie. I thought the Toad (Darth Maul himself!!!!) in the first instalment was pretty funny.

The Nightcrawler was really cool in X-2 (i even got a 12-inch action fig of him - back home in M'sia, of course! See pic on right). So i'm disappointed to find that he is not in the cast for X-3.

To compound my disappointment, i learnt that there won't be a premier in London for X-3!!!! Instead, they'll all be in Cannes! :-(

I was talking to Michael excitedly about it today. Do you know that if you go to the official website, you get to view 7 mins of the movie? That really got me all excited.

Still, i know the danger of hype and expectations - i remembered that it was so high that when i first watched The Two Towers, i was so let down!

But it sure is hard trying not to expect much! I've just watched X-Men and i'll watch X-2 when i get it from another Uni-mate later. Preparing meself! :-)

Oh, i got really excited too when i caught the latest Superman Returns trailer. Sure, Superman looks too young (the story takes place after Superman 3... or was it 4?) and Kevin Spacey as Lex Luther looks funny cuz he looked so old compared to Superman. But still, it looked good - especially the "bullet in the eye" part or the trailer. Watch it - and get all excited. I know Jon is!

Comments:
of course he ages! he came as a babe, din he? but you should know Superman so much better than me!

the image of Chris Reeve as superman will forever be in me mind - so when i see this brandon fella who is supposed to play Superman after the Chris Reeve's movies, it just seem weird. maybe his holiday back home made him younger? ;-P

p/s - sori, din notice his legs. dun normally pay much attention to men's legs.
