I knew I loved you - Savage Garden

When I got the movie, i played the first couple of minutes just to check the quality. Based on the those few minutes, i just knew i was gonna love it.

I did! :-)

This has to be the best movie I've watched this year - and it's gonna take a lot to topple it from that place!!!!

It's truly an enjoyable ride.

Why? Well, it has brilliant lines! There were so many occasions when i just cracked up laughing like a madman!

Example:-

Val Kilmer: You're an idiot. You know that. You know if you looked in the dictionary next to the word "idiot" you know what you'll find?

Robert Downey Jr: A picture of me?

Val Kilmer: No! The definition of the word "idiot". Which you are.

Lol!!!!

I find the lines to be witty and funny. It oso has Robert doing some narration! This is the type of movie that you dun wanna miss a single word.

Then, there was the screen chemistry between Val and Robert - excellent! individually, they are accomplished actors. No doubts over Robert's abilities - after all, he almost saved Ally McBeal!!!! Too bad his drug and alcohol problems had other ideas. But hey, the guy is trying (and it seemed that Val, in an effort to support him, din drink any alcohol at all while filming wif Robert!). Val on the other hand has had his critics (including yours truly - Bruce Wayne???? Simon Templar???). But Val pulled off his gay private investigator role (equipped wif a mobile that has "I will survive" as its ringtone!!!!) really well. Put them together, they truly rock!

Of course, there's the Liv Tyler look-alike Michelle Monaghan - who lights up the screen whenever she graces it!

Put all the above into an interesting storyline - with some truly offbeat but never disgusting situations - and you get 103 minutes of pure fun and entertainment.

Oh, it was written by Shane Black, the same guy who did the Lethal Weapon series.

Highly recommended.

A word of caution, tho. It is rated 15 here in the UK and "R" across the Atlantic.

Comments:
i'll spare sum if u'll reciprocate when u r in NZ!!! ;-)

as for KKBB - it's quite a recent movie! a 2005 movie, to be precise.
